WILD BOHO ELOPEMENT WEDDING - IN MOUNTAIS

Giuseppe + Miriana

The ruins of the Garagnone, a castle built in the Norman era, lie on a hill just a few km on the Bauxite di Spinazzola quarry. For this wedding photo shoot, I insisted on having a very special guest of honour: a regal Murgese horse, which blends perfectly with the surroundings chosen for the session. And indeed, it was no coincidence: native to the Murgia area, this breed of horses knows its way around the impassable hills that make up this fascinating landscape.
This elopement wedding project wasn’t easy to shoot, mainly for organisational reasons, but the end result satisfied me completely. I wanted these photos to convey a strong sense of intimacy and a genuine connection between man and nature. A full-scale elopement witnessed by just a few close friends and relatives, far from traditional wedding canons. The bride and groom – immersed in a world of their own, far from the chaos of the city – rediscover their love in touch with pristine nature, showcasing a pure, genuine and untouchable bond that bows to no influence, rising proudly like the castle ruins of this evocative wedding location.
The genre chosen for this photo shoot was shabby boho; the bohemian-style bridal gown blends perfectly with the remote, deserted landscape. The bouquet also has a country-chic boho vibe. Last but not least is the love story that tinges the wedding photos with romance and harmony.
